Princess Anne, Princess Royal will be attending an event in Leeds that marks the 30th anniversary of Sports Coach UK, an organization that works with the national sports governing bodies throughout the United Kingdom to recruit, develop, and support new coaches. The Princess Royal is Patron of the organization, which is headquartered in Leeds.
As Patron of the College of Occupational Therapists, she will be attending the Master of Science (MSc) Occupational Therapy and MSc Physiotherapy End of Course Conference at City Campus, Leeds Metropolitan University.
In Shipley, the Princess will visit Manor Coating Systems - a local family-owned paint and coating supply firm, as well as the Saltaire Micro Brewery - another local company that has received numerous awards from across Britain and around the world. The purpose of these visits will presumably be to highlight and bring awareness to products being made in the United Kingdom, where manufacturing has lately been experiencing a bit of a comeback.
