Commonwealth Realms

     A list of the countries within the Commonwealth of Nations where Charles III is head of state, along with his title in each country. Also included is each country's capital, largest city, and population. This list is ordered according to when these nations became Commonwealth realms.

First, an explanation of membership within the Commonwealth.

The Commonwealth of Nations. All member states recognize Elizabeth II as Head of the Commonwealth, but the red countries are the members of the organization that share allegiance to Elizabeth and her heirs and successors as head of state (and are informally known as Commonwealth Realms). The blue countries are the members that either have their own indigenous monarchies, or are republics. Many of them were once independent realms, including India, Pakistan, Kenya, and South Africa.

With that explained, here is the list of the Commonwealth realms. The UK is first as it is the original realm from which the other realms became independent.
