     The Queen will be accompanied by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge to attend the unveiling of a life-sized statue of the Windsor Greys on the roundabout, at the Albert & Kings road junction adjoining the Long Walk at Windsor Castle. The Duke of Cambridge is Patron of the Windsor Greys Jubilee Appeal, which has raised the 200,000 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Queen's coronation with a sculpture by Robert Rattry of two of the lead carriage horses - known as Windsor Greys - used in state occasions.

     Sophie, Countess of Wessex is going to be in Cornwall to visit Lynher Dairies Cheese Company in Truro, as well as the Royal Cornwall Showground at Wadebridge.

    Princess Anne, Princess Royal will be in East Sussex to attend a Charity Raceday at Plumpton Racecourse in her role as President of Racing Welfare, an organization dedicated to professional guidance and training to people who work in the thoroughbred industry. She will also be in London as Appeal Patron of the Woolf Institute to attend a Fundraising Dinner at Spencer House. The Institute studies the relations and interactions between Christians, Jews, and Muslims.

     Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester will be at Hampton Court Palace in Surrey to attend 'The Arcadian Thames - a Celebration' charity event in reference to the stretch of the River Thames from Hampton Court to Kew Palace. 

Tuesday, April 1st 

HRH The Earl of Wessex

     Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex will be the Savoy Hotel in London to attend a breakfast meeting as Trustee of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

     Later, as Master of the Worshipful Company of Gardeners, will be in London to attend the organization's annual Spring Court meeting and lunch at Butchers' Hall. The company is a City of London Livery Company, and although it no longer engages in the regulation of produce, it is now a charitable institution promoting good gardening and horticulture. 

     The Princess Royal will be in London all day for her engagements. As Commandant in Chief (Youth) of St. John Ambulance, she will visit the Youth Programs of the Hackney Unit in Clapton. The St. John Ambulance Association is a volunteer and charitable organization dedicated to teaching and practicing First Aid, as well as the provision of ambulance services. 

     She will also be attending a conference of Catch 22, a social business - of which she is Patron - that helps people to turn their lives around. At Soho Square, she will attend a Skills Symposium as President of City and Guilds, vocational educational organization that offers 500 certifications in a variety of fields, and operates under a Royal Charter issued by Queen Victoria in 1900. Princess Anne took over as President from her father Prince Philip in 2011, who had held the position for nearly 60 years.

     As President RedR UK, the Princess will attend a dinner at St. James's Palace. RedR is an organization that focuses on training people for aid work, as well as lending support for organizations that provide disaster relief services.

HRH The Duke of Kent

     Prince Edward, Duke of Kent will be in Cornwall to carry out engagements for the day. At Newquay, he will visit the Masonic Hall as Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of England; in St. Agnes, the Duke will visit the St. Agnes Museum, as well as the St. Agnes Lifeboat Station as President of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution; at Penzance, he will stop by Trengwainton House.

Wednesday, April 2nd

     The Earl of Wessex will be going to Somerset to attend the Court Meeting and Dinner at the University of Bath, of which he is Chancellor.

     In Hertfordshire, the Princess Royal - as Patron of the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Foundation - will visit the South West Herts Youth and Community Narrowboat Project at the RYA Sailability Center in Hunton Bridge. The Foundation helps to make boating and sailing more accessible to people regardless of circumstances such as financial hardship and disability. She will also view the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment in Hatfield.

     In Buckinghamshire, the Princess will visit HMP Grendon and Springhill as Patron of the Butler Trust to observe and meet inmates who are training to go into the hospitality industry.

HRH The Duke of Gloucester

     Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester will be going to Kent for the day. At Maidstone, he will open the Kent Institute of Medicine and Surgery, visit the Mote Park Fellowship Volunteers at Mote House, and visit Parents is the Word at Heather House.

     In Cornwall, the Duke of Kent will be attending a seminar as Patron of the International Musicians Seminar at Prussia Cove in Rosedgeon.

Thursday, April 3rd

HM The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh

     The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh will visit Italy for day-long trip, during which they will have an audience with Pope Francis and a private lunch with Italian President Giorgio Napolitano.

     Back in the UK, the Princess Royal will attend a 50th anniversary celebration of the Injured Jockeys Fund, of which she is Patron, at the Aintree Racecourse. The Fund provides assistance to jockeys who have been forced to give up riding due to injuries.

     As President of World Horse Welfare, the Princess will also visit Penny Farm Rescue and Rehoming Center in Blackpool, Lancashire.


Friday, April 4th

HRH The Princess Royal

     The Princess Royal will be carrying engagements in Merseyside. In Liverpool, she will attend a Personalized Technology Conference at the Liverpool Football Club as the Royal Patron of Hft, a national charity for people with learning disabilities. At Wallasey, the Princess will open Accommodation and Communal Hub at Mariners' Park as Master of the Corporation of Trinity House. She will also be at the Southport Theater and Convention Center to attend a seminar to mark the 21st Anniversary of the Sefton Carers Center in her role as President of the Carers Trust.

     Birgette, Duchess of Gloucester will be in Italy to attend the first day of the Davis Cup quarterfinals in Naples as Honorary President of the Lawn Tennis Association.

Saturday, April 5th

     The Princess Royal will attend the 175th Grand National Race at Aintree Racecouse in Liverpool.

HRH The Duchess of Gloucester

     The Duchess of Gloucester will be in Italy to attend the second day of the Davis Cup quarterfinals in Naples as Honorary President of the Lawn Tennis Association.

Royal Docket for January 31, 2014

HRH The Prince of Wales

     Prince Charles, Prince of Wales will be in Shobdon, Herefordshire to visit the Church of St John the Evangelist. 

     He will also be in Powys for two engagements. In Presteigne, the Prince of Wales will pay a visit to the Judge's Lodging - a lodging house and shire hall that was once used by judges, but is now a converted museum that offers a view into the Victorian world. At Hay-on-Wye, he will stop by the Maesyronnen Chapel as Patron of the Landmark Trust, a conservation charity that rescues buildings of architectural and/or historical merit and which administers the cottage attached to the Chapel.


HRH The Duchess of Gloucester

     Birgette, Duchess of Gloucester is in the United States. As Honorary President of the Lawn Tennis Association, she will be attending the Davis Cup - the premier international tournament for men's tennis - in San Diego, California through the weekend. Today is Day 1 of the first round.

HRH The Princess Royal

     Princess Anne, Princess Royal, will be in London to host a dinner for Opportunity International (OI) at St. James's Palace. OI provides small business loans and financial education for people in the developing world, so that they can work their way out of poverty, and the Princess is the Patron of the UK branch which oversees fundraising efforts.

HRH The Duchess of Gloucester

     Birgitte, Duchess of Gloucester will attend an event at 10 Downing Street as Patron of the Royal London Society for Blind People, which for over 175 years, has helped to improve the lives of blind individuals in London and southeast Britain through a blend of techniques. The event is being hosted by Prime Minister David Cameron.

HRH The Duke of Edinburgh

     Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, will attend a Livery Dinner at Fishmongers' Hall in the City of London. The event is being held by the Worshipful Company of Fishmongers', which is a guild of the sellers of seafood in the City, and is one of the Great Twelve Livery Companies, with its origins stretching back to 1272. The Duke is himself a Freeman and Liveryman of the guild.

TRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

     The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are attending a screening of Sir David Attenborough’s 3D film, Natural History Museum Live at the Natural History Museum in London.  Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge is Patron of the museum. 

HRH The Earl of Wessex

     Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, as the Master of the Worshipful Company of Gardeners, will attend the Tradescant Court at Wax Chandlers Hall in London. Like the Company of the Fishmongers, this organization is a City of London Livery Company. It no longer engages in the regulation of produce, but is now a charitable institution, for the promotion of good gardening and horticulture. 

HRH The Princess Royal

     Princess Anne, Princess Royal will be attending two engagements in London. She will open the new Blackfriars Settlement Community Centre, as well as the South West London Divisional Office of Victim Support. 

     Blackfriars is a charity that “aims to create and provide community services and support. Victim Support is a charity of which the Princess is President, and it reaches out to help victims of crime and their families. 

HRH The Duchess of Gloucester

     Birgette, Duchess of Gloucester, as the Royal Patron of Prostate Cancer UK, will visit the headquarters of the Movember health campaign in London. 

HRH The Duke of Kent

     Prince Edward, Duke of Kent will visit the Commonwealth War Graves Commission headquarters in Maidenhead, as well as the engineering company Xtrac Limited in Thatcham. The Duke is President of the Graves Commission, and both engagements take place in the county of Berkshire.

HM Queen Elizabeth and the HRH The Duchess of Cornwall

     The Queen will be accompanied by The Duchess of Cornwall to open the new headquarters for Barnardo's, a charity that focuses on caring for vulnerable children and young people. It is the United Kingdom’s largest children’s charity in terms of charitable expenditure, and the Queen is its Patron while the Duchess is its President. The new headquarters is located in Ilford, Essex. 

HRH The Earl of Wessex

     Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, as Chancellor of the University of Bath, will present Degrees at the renowned Assembly Rooms of the city of Bath. 

HRH The Countess of Wessex

     Sophie, Countess of Wessex will attend the Seeing is Believing Carol Service at St. Paul's Cathedral in London. The service is being held by Vision 2020: the Right to Sight, a global initiative to compact avoidable blindness by the year 2020, of which the Countess is Patron. 

HRH The Princess Royal

     Princess Anne, Princess Royal will visit The Jailhouse Café at Her Majesty’s Prison, The Verne at Portland, Dorset. The Café is staffed by prisoners who are gaining work experience and/or learning skills for going into catering upon their release. 

     The Princess Royal, as Commandant-in-Chief (Youth) of St. John Ambulance, will also be attending the 10th Anniversary of the Carers' Support Program at the Discovery Court Business Center in Poole, Dorset. The St. John Ambulance Association is volunteer and charitable organization dedicated to teaching and practicing First Aid, as well as the provision of ambulance services. 

     Staying in Dorset, she will be visiting Victoria Education and Sports College as the Patron of Livability, a Christian charity that focuses on working with people who have disabilities. 

     In London, the Princess Royal will attend the Annual Carol Service at St. Michael Paternoster Royal, followed by a Reception at Skinners' Hall. These events are sponsored by The Mission to Seafarers, a charity that cares for the welfare of seafarer’s around the world, of which the Princess is President. 

HRH The Duke of Gloucester
     
     Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester will attend the Banister Fletcher Lecture at The Garden Museum, Lambeth Palace Road, London. The lecture is named for the architectural historian, and is organized by the Heritage of London Trust to discuss aspects architectural history. The Duke is Patron of the organization, and is himself an architect by trade, having completed a degree in the subject from Cambridge. 

HRH The Duchess of Gloucester

     Birgette, Duchess of Gloucester, as Honorary President of the Lawn Tennis Association, will attend its Annual General Meeting at the National Tennis Centre in London. The Association is the national governing body of tennis in the UK, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man. 

HRH The Duke of Kent

     Prince Edward, Duke of Kent will attend a meeting of the Royal Alpha Lodge at Freemasons' Hall in London followed by a dinner at Lincoln's Inn, also in London. The Duke is the Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of England, which has jurisdiction over Freemasonry in England and Wales as well as other subordinate lodges. 

HRH Princess Alexandra

     Princess Alexandra will visit St. Christopher's Hospice in Sydenham, London. She is Patron of the establishment.

HRH The Earl of Wessex
     
     Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex will hold a dinner at Windsor Castle in his role as Trustee of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, which was founded by Prince Philip for the purpose of encouraging young men and women to participate in, or create, activities which improve their lives, as well as the greater society.


HRH The Duchess of Gloucester

     Birgitte, Duchess of Gloucester will attend a charity Christmas carol service in London at St.-Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square in her role as the Royal Patron of Missing People, an organization offers assistance to people who run away or go missing. During this time of year in which most people are expected to be with their families, this service with presumably focus attention on those missing persons who will not be fortunate to be in the company of loved ones.
