Monday, March 24th

HRH The Duke of Edinburgh

     Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh will hold a reception at Buckingham Palace as Patron of the Commonwealth Study Conference, a meeting he founded in 1956 which looks "into the tensions, problems and opportunities created by [the] dichotomy between industrial enterprise and community development" throughout the Commonwealth.

     In Lebury, Herefordshire, Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex is attending a Young Fellowship Activity Day at Eastnor Castle as Trustee of the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation. Young Fellowship is a network of young people affiliated with World Fellowship, which aims to sustain the work of the D of E International Awards. 

HRH The Princess Royal

     Princess Anne, Princess Royal will be carrying out two engagements in London. As President of RedR UK, she will attend a reception at Grange St. Paul's Hotel. RedR is an organization that focuses on training people for aid work, as well as lending support for organizations that provide disaster relief services.

     At Buckingham Palace, she will hold the opening reception of the Commonwealth Study Conference (CSC) Leaders Conference as President of the Duke Of Edinburgh's Commonwealth Study Conferences. 

Tuesday, March 25th 

HM The Queen the HRH The Duke of Edinburgh

     The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh will hold a reception at Buckingham Palace for the Irish community in advance of the forthcoming State visit by the President of the Republic of Ireland in April. Also in attendance will be the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.

     Meanwhile, the Princess Royal, as President of the Duke Of Edinburgh's Commonwealth Study Conferences, will attend the Conference Study Tour at Graham House Hostel in London. 

Wednesday, March 26th 

     In London, the Duke of Edinburgh will open the new headquarters for the Royal College of General Practitioners at 30 Euston Square. The College represents and supports GP's throughout the United Kingdom on issues including licensing, education, training, research, and clinical standards. With over 46,000 members, it is the largest royal medical college (professional organization), and Prince Philip is its Patron.

     That evening, the Duke will attend a dinner at One Great George Street for the Smeatonian Society of Civil Engineers - the first and oldest engineering society in the world - of which the Duke is Patron.

HRH The Prince of Wales

     Prince Charles, Prince of Wales will be in London to attend the Housing London Symposium and the launch of the Housing London report as President of the Prince's Foundation for Building Community.

HRH The Duchess of Cornwall

     In Ditchling, East Sussex, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall will visit the Ditchling Museum of Art & Craft on Lodge Hill Lane as President of the Museum. 

     Sophie, Countess of Wessex will hold a lunch at Buckingham Palace as President of Girlguiding, which is the British equivalent to the Girl Scouts in the United States, and the Queen is Patron of the organization. 

     She will also be attending the 'Everyday Heroes' reception at the Lancaster Hotel in London as Grand President of St. John Ambulance in the Priory of England and the Islands. The St. John Ambulance Association is a volunteer and charitable organization dedicated to teaching and practicing First Aid, as well as the provision of ambulance services. 

     Meanwhile, the Princess Royal will continue her travels with the Conference Study Tour as it convenes in the following locations: Fab Lab Manchester in New Islington, Manchester; Newcastle Science City at the Devonshire Building in Newcastle-upon-Tyne; and the National Museum of Scotland on Chambers Street in Edinburgh.

HRH The Duchess of Cornwall

     In Berkshire, Birgitte, Duchess of Gloucester will be carrying out engagements throughout the county. At Reading, she will visit the Launchpad Reading Learning Center at The Stables on Merchants Place. In Wokingham, the Duchess will open the Wokingham Medical Center on Rose Street and unveil the Diamond Jubilee Frieze at Wokingham Train Station.

     Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, will be accompanying participants of the Duke of Edinburgh's Commonwealth Study Conferences (United Kingdom Fund) on their visit to Crossrail, the commuter and suburban rail line serving Greater London and its surroundings. The Duke is President of the Conference's Trustee's. 

Thursday, March 27th 

     The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh will attend a luncheon at Lloyd's of London - the renowned insurance market - at its headquarters at One Lime Street in the City of London.

     At Watermen's Hall in London, they will attend a reception to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the Royal Watermen, who operate under the Queen's Bargemaster and play a part in State occasions along the River Thames and conduct other onshore duties in the service of the Sovereign.

HRH Prince Harry of Wales

     Prince Harry will attend a dinner at St James's Palace as Patron of Walking With The Wounded South Pole Allied Challenge.

     The Earl and Countess of Wessex will be carrying out several engagements on the Isle of Wight over the next two days.

TRH The Earl and Countess of Wessex

     At Brading, Prince Edward will be visiting Brading Roman Villa on Morton Old Road; in Shanklin, he will visit the Shanklin Voluntary Youth and Community Club as Trustee of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award; and in Newport, the Earl - as Patron of the Newport Minster Renewal Appeal - will visit the Minster Church of Saints Thomas.

     Meanwhile, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, will be in Shanklin to visit Gatten and Lake Primary School in Oaklyn Gardens; in Sandown, she will visit Rapanui - an eco-fashion company - as Patron of the London College of Fashion; and at Cowes, she will visit the Isle of Wight Foodbank on Love Lane. 

     In Shanklin, the Earl and Countess will be attending a performance given by First Act at Shanklin Theater. That night, they will attend a gala dinner at the Royal Yacht Squadron at Cowes, and Prince Edward will be attending in his role as Patron of the Newport Minster Renewal Appeal.

     The Princess Royal will be continuing her travels with the Duke of Edinburgh's Commonwealth Study Conference as it meets in Edinburgh at Herriott Watt University.

HRH Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester

     At the Royal Air Force Club in London, the Duke of Gloucester will attend the Royal Auxiliary Air Force Honorary Air Commodore's annual briefing and luncheon in his role as Honorary Air Commodore of the No. 501 (County of Gloucester) Squadron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force (RAuxAF).

     The Duchess of Gloucester will visit the London Youth Games at the Westway Sports Center as Honorary President of the Lawn Tennis Association and in support of the Tennis Foundation.

     The Duke of Kent, as President of the Council for King Edward VII's Hospital, will officially open the new outpatient facility at 5-10 Beaumont Street in London. 

Friday, March 28th 

TRH The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall

     In London, the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall will visit the Edible Garden Show at Alexandra Palace.

     On the Isle of Wight, the Earl and Countess of Wessex will be carrying out their second day of engagements there.

     At Whippingham, they will visit St. Mildred's Church; in East Cowes, the Earl and Countess will attend a reception to mark the opening of the 'Childhood at Osborne' Exhibition at the Swiss Cottage, Osborne House (former royal residence of Queen Victoria), as well as visit Queensgate Foundation Primary School. 

Saturday, March 29th 

     In Oxford, the Princess Royal will attend the Commonwealth Study Conference's (CSC) final day at the Examinations Schools at 81 High Street in her role as President of the Conference.

HRH The Duke of Kent

     That evening, the Duke of Kent will attend the Commonwealth Leaders Study Conference Closing Dinner at Balliol College, Oxford as President of the Trustee's of the CSC (UK Fund).
